The Council of Nurses (CII) The Council of Nurses is composed of all of the nurses practicing at the Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre.
The CII is responsible, among other duties for the evaluation, in a general manner, of the quality of nursing acts performed at the Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre. It also has the mandate to make recommendations on the regulations pertaining to nursing care, medical follow-up, use of medication, as well as the appropriate assignment of care given by its members.
Moreover, the CII has established an Auxiliary Nurses Committee (CIIA) which, among other duties evaluates the the quality of nursing acts performed by auxiliary nurses at the Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre. This Committee also provides advice on the means to be taken to evaluate and maintain the competence of all auxiliary nurses in the institution.
The Council of Physicians Dentists and Pharmacists (CMDP) The Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre Council of Physicians Dentists and Pharmacists is composed of all the physicians, dentists and pharmacists practicing in the institution. It includes an Executive elected by a majority of members present at the Annual General Meeting held in May each year.
The Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre Council of Physicians Dentists and Pharmacists monitors the control and evaluation of the quality of medical, dental and pharmaceutical acts perfoirmed in the institution. It is also responsible for the evaluation and maintenance of the competence of physicians, dentists and pharmacists practicing at the Health Centre. Committee members can forward recommendations to the Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre management or its Board of Directors.
The Multidisciplinary Council (CM) The Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre Multidisciplinary Council includes some one hundred members representing some 20 professions. It is formed by all those persons holding a college or university diploma practicing at the Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre, except doctors, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and auxiliary nusrses.
The Multidisciplinary Council is responsible for the evaluation and improvement of the quality of professional practice by all of its members. It is also mandated to make recommendations concerning the appropriate assignment of care and services dispensed by its members.
