Return to normal visiting hours but remaining vigilant

The fight against nosocomial infections, such as VRE, MRSA or C difficile, is a daily struggle that requires everyone’s cooperation: personnel, doctors, patients, visitors. While maintaining vigilance and strict controls, we are in a position to review certain rules, including those pertaining to visiting hours.

Access opportunity for clientele with no family doctor

Are you part of an orphan clientele and a resident of the Argenteuil MRC area? You can register to be on the waiting list to have a family doctor. You just have to contact the Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre by calling 450 562-3761, Ext. 8331, Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre expands

The Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre is delighted with the official announcement made today by the Health Ministry, that new construction annexed to the facility will allow us to welcome clientele designated by the Centre de réadaptation Le Bouclier to Lachute. The Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre will thus assume a regional role, since the opening of 26 intensive functional rehabilitation beds by the close of the project will permit the repatriation to Lachute of a significant portion of the clientele from the south of the Laurentians.

Very persistent bacteria: The Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre does what it must

"The context is far from simple. Combating bacteria when the source can be anywhere, you have to be twice as vigilant" admitted Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre Physical Health Clientele program Executive Assistant Linda Bernier, where the difficult to rectify situation still persists. Since the Acute care Unit (USCD) has experienced repeated outbreaks of bacteria over several months, the facility is doing what it must in order that, under such circumstances, it be a less painful experience for the patients, the families, for the care staff.
