As part of National Volunteer Week, from April 21 – 27, 2013, the Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre (CSSS d’Argenteuil) wishes to thank the 300 volunteers within the organization who give their valuable time, often on a daily basis. A special TRIBUTE EVENING to the great women and great men was held on April 23.

During the Holiday Season, the Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre TA RÉFÉRENCE FAIT LA DIFFÉRENCE (YOUR REFERENCE MAKES THE DIFFERENCE) recruitment campaign has come a long way, sowing seeds in passing. It has enabled many people to send the message that the Health Centre is looking for doctors and nurses to provide quality care and services to the population.

Looking for GPs, medical specialists, nurses, the Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre is launching a major recruitment campaign, Your reference makes the difference, during the Holiday Season. This is intentional.

The Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre and the Centre jeunesse des Laurentides (Youth Centre) held a forum on October 26, 2012 at the Oasis Golf Club, where negligence was the topic of discussion. "granDire" is the name of this forum which brought together various community partners to reflect on their practices regarding negligence and develop a common vision of this phenomenon. One of the objectives was to change some preconceptions about neglect.

Orica, Cascades Groupe Tissu, Centre local d’emploi, Recypro, Pharmacie Jean Coutu, the Argenteuil MRC, the municipality of the Village of Grenville and the Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre. What do these eight workplaces have in common? All eight received recognition as 0•5•30 companies or organizations. And others will be added.

As part of the accreditation renewal process, the Argenteuil Health and Social Services Center is currently undertaking a major initiative aimed at improving the quality of services it provides to its clientele. For this to be successful, it is essential to know the opinion of the clientele it serves.
